I continually diversify my portfolio through the pursuit of new learning opportunities, both informal and formal, and purposeful network building.

I now proudly serve as the Engagement Manager at American Pride Rises (APR). APR is an initiative committed to protecting pathways to the American Dream by fighting for a more diverse, equitable and inclusive America for ALL. Our impact is delivered by collaborating with other organizations to engage communities, educate advocates, and equip allies to respond to legislative and legal attacks on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion was layered within all my previous roles in different capacities. I look forward to fully embracing this work, and I am presently curious to learn more about the intersection of DEI with higher education, public health, environmental justice.

Always open to connect!

I entered the public health sector as the Coordinator for the Community Health Engagement and Impact team at the MetroHealth Hospital.

This role required consistent community engagement directed by the priorities of the hospital. I supported the beginning stages of a new community public health grant program, led MetroHealth presence and education efforts at events, and facilitated project management and organization for my team with platforms such as Monday.com.

Following the end of my fellowship, I joined ioby as the Cleveland Action Strategist.

In this role I embraced authentic community relationships to support our Cleveland leaders with their fundraising efforts through our platform. I was the contact and support for all ioby projects in the Greater Cleveland area.

Following graduation from LSU, I accepted a role as the Talent and Equity Fellow for the Cleveland Foundation, placed at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District 2022-23.

I received insight into the development, management, and facilitation of ERGs (Employee Resource Groups) for a 7,000-employee-sized urban school district and contributed to the creation of two new ERGs for the district in 2023. My role primarily required managing the district wide implementation of a 6-part racial equity series. My daily tasks involved organizing and communicating between a variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Looking Ahead:

I have been cultivating my portfolio since 2018 and hold long-standing experience in the public service sector. I am currently working in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space.

I am focused on expanding my skill set and pursuing enriching educational opportunities.

My priority is social impact and my commitment is to growth both personally and professionally.

My professional career started with my creative roles as the Content Writer for Power Pump Girls, Inc. (PPG) 2018-22 and Social Media Manager for JuJu Royal 2020-21 while studying at LSU.

These experiences equipped and encouraged me to explore storytelling, media, communications, writing, proactive project management, public service, health equity, and audience engagement throughout my journey.
